LOS ANGELES- Go to brunch spot

Taste is by far one of our favorite spots for brunch in LA.  It's probably because the first time we went (pictured above) we ended up staying for 5 hours, bottomless mimosas flowing the entire time.  

Can't wait to go back tomorrow!  

Austin, TX- DA BOOTS!!

It's no secret I love a good pair of boots...well I think I found my heaven in Austin, TX.  Texas Custom Boots!

Not only do they have an endless supply of vintage cowboy boots...

..they keep your measurements and make custom boots to fit perfectly!

Love the old man doing his thang in the back.

I walked out with these two pairs for (get this!) $150 total!

I secretly wanted these light up Christmas boots...too bad they were a men's size 10.  

If you're ever in Austin pay them a visit, and check out the vintage shop next door, Laced With Romance.

SARASOTA- YOGINI FIND

I've spent quit a bit of time in Sarasota, FL this past year.  My favorite thing there by far was Yoga SRQ!  If you're ever in the area, try to make it to one of Robyn's classes.
The room is small and hot, just the way I like it.


Robyn has so much great energy as she leads you into some really delicious poses.  Her son Alex also teaches a tough vinyasa class at the studio, and I'll admit he is easy on the eyes.


The only thing I regret is I could never make it to one of Robyn's Paddleboard Yoga classes.
How fun does that sound!!?

CHICAGO

How beautiful is Chicago?!  This trip was particularly special, NYE 2011 and I spent the majority of it in bed in my hotel room... then in bed at my best friends house.  This picture is from one night when I actually made it out of bed.  You can't tell here but it was deathly cold!

Next time you visit the Windy City:

 Eat Here:  Billy Goat Tavern-classic old Chicago joint.  Look on the wall and wave to my friend's dad's name, Mr. Telander!  If you're feeling a little more frisky, and possibly drunk head over to  Wiener's Circle and say hey to my girls!  

Drink Here:  The Violet Hour Make sure you look decent, and don't try to text your friends while you're inside.  They will get mad at you, trust me... but the fancy drinks are well worth it!
